2012 Juan Gil 4

Big and bold in every way, the Juan Gil 4 from 2012 smacks you right away with aromas of cherry, cranberry, tar and spicy, smoky character creeps up.  Delivers on the palate with a long finish highlited by flavours of cherry, raspberry, blackberry, resin and spice. A very warming wine, and one that needs food.  A robust wine that could easily hold up over the next 3-4 years, or could be enjoyed tonight with lamb burgers or hearty meatloaf.
