2011 Hermanos Lurton Tempranillo
Red berry fruit dominates the nose of this big alcohol Tempranillo. You can pick up a bit of earth and woody aromas as well. There is a wall of tannin that smacks you a second after tasting which is the emphasis of this wine. All of the fruit gets diminished by the uncomfortably bold tannins. This wine should definately be cellared for 3-5 years before consumption to really showcase the fruit potential.
