2012 Santa Digna Cabernet Sauvignon
Medium ruby with an intense, fruity nose, this offering from Chile packs an aroma punch, but doesn’t follow through in the finish. Upfront, welcoming aromas of cassis, black cherry, cedar and a slight herbaceous note. On the palate, the fruit dissipates into a sharp, tannic finish. Not bad, and in 3-4 years, this could really develop. Drink with filet mignon or steak tar tar.
