A great choice for those looking for a strong, hoppy ale without the towering alcohol. Coming in at a light 4.3% abv., fans of IPAs can now enjoy their ale without the loom of 7%+ alcohol creeping up on them. Very crisp and dry, with minor citrus notes alongside flavours of hay, pine, herbs and eucalyptus. Doesn’t finish as long or aggressive as the majority of IPAs out there but it still possesses remarkable flavour.

Right off the bat, as I poured this beer, I caught powerful aromas of malt and pithy white grapefruit. Some autolytic, yeasty aromas are present as well along with more subdued lemon notes. The beer is relatively full, and very crisp and characterized by strong, dry grapefruit rind flavours. Not as bitter as many IPAs our there but its just as flavourful. A killer label but an average beer. Drink with spicy burgers or salads with a citrus vinaigrette.
